I'm not from CT but I was there visiting a friend for the weekend. I purposely didn't get my hair cut before visiting so that she could bring me to her barber. I was a bit skeptical at first as not many people can cut my hair correctly. Right off the bat I appreciate that he has a sign in log, therefore, everyone gets their hair cut on a "first come first serve" rule. While you are waiting there are articles to read that are quite interesting, I won't soil the mud by talking about them before you get to read them for yourself. He was thorough, quick, had a good attention to detail, and to top that off it there wasn't the awkward silence through the entirety of my cut. We spoke about his life, my life, where he's from and how he got to where he is now, he spoke about his home country, and so much more. It was like I got a haircut and a history lesson all in one sitting lol. It was a different experience then what you get back here in the Boston area and the cut had me feeling myself so to speak lol. He is also good with kids, even those that are a little jumpy. Overall, I would recommend his barbershop to anyone that is around the way. Keep in mind, this man is quite popular due to his talent, so get there early or expect a wait for your turn. (Also keep in mind that these photos were taking days after my cut and it still looks this good!)
